    Hey guys,

    I find that it is easy to gain weight... and easy to lose weight as well once you get your diet and trainign in check. But how do you maintain?

    The reason im asking this it's happened to me once..where i had a great routine at the gym...a fairly clean diet but i kept losing...and had a hard time tweeking my diet and routine so that i would stop losing more body weight.

    Any ideas...??

    Did you check your weight right after you workout? Because the weight could be water you lost.

    Um...yeahi have...but i usually dont weigh myself..i note changes by the way my clothes fit and the way i feel.

    How is that relevant to what im asking?...(i dont mean to ask that in a rude way...)

    You maintain weight by consuming approximately the number of calories you burn everyday. You lose weight by consuming less, and gain weight by consuming more. It's quite simple really, I suggest you just begin to keep track of your daily calorie intake and make the necessary adjustments.

    You need to know your diet. Its pretty easy for me. I eat pretty routine. For me maintaining is eating when hungry and just not being to strict but some extras. But not forcing food down. I don't eat a ton of carbs to maintain, but I don't count carbs either. Is looser clothes a problem? If your lifts are increasing, I wouldn't be worried some loose jeans, I wish mine were loosier.
    Wouldn't hurt to get your bodyfat checked.
