Nice arm picture. As always your gains are really substantial, nice work.

Your prank sounded really funny - I wish I could have witnessed it. I agree with what you say about distractions in the gym and the need to focus and concentrate on what your doing. One needs to be in the right state of mind to lift PR's. My parents gave me the money to buy an mp3 player and I recieved it yesterday. I think its going to really help, check my journal for more info.

I'm with aka on the font - I prefer it smaller, but the colour is good

Exnor:Thanks for the compliments! The prank was really good. Words cant really describe the amount of lumpy wet flour all over the barbell and his hands, it was really funny to watch the gym is a fun place to be but you need your space to concentrate on your lifts, hence me being on the lookout for a mp3 player. I am about to check your journal now as I am a bit green as to what to get.

Thanks. Im still experimenting with colors, etc but I agree on the font size- it is a bit too big.

What is your wrist sore from? Have you been using the false grip on CGBP?

Nice work with the deadlift increases. I have also had problems with sore wrists and CGBP. It originally occurred because I was using too narrow a grip and had not developed the assisting muscles. You might be able to temporarily avoid the wrist problems by doing the CGBP in a smith machine, so your wrists do not have to balance the weight.

Tank23:Thanks! I want to focus a bit on the deadlift as I feel I should be lifting a lot more than I am now. The sore wrist came from re-racking the EZ bar after my sets as I went to failure last time and struggled to put the weight back on the rack, which hurt my wrist. I tried the false grip as you mentioned, I cant get the bar to touch my chest when I do CGBP without a bit of pain.

aka23:Thanks! I think you are right with the assisting muscles in the lift, I think I am the only one in the gym who doesnt do any wrist exercises. I am gonna try it on the smith machine instead, thanks for the tip.

wibble:Thanks! I hope the good luck continues- I checked the chalk before I used it

Saint Patrick:Thanks, good to see you in here!
