The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Work-out time changed and I lost my intensity

Anyone ever change their work-out time significantly and have trouble with the same level of intensity they were accustomed to having?

I am working out with a different partner, and he doesn't get to the gym until 8pm. I was working out around 4:30 or 5 previously and now have a hell of a time getting motivated and hyped for a good workout.

Sometimes I get done with a set and ask myself why I just did half the reps I normally do!

Any thoughts for jump-starting me back into the proper mind-set or whatever it is I need to get back to where I was in earlier in the day work-outs?

Go back to your old time. I can never work out that late in the day. My mind is winding down from the day and I can't focus either.
Sorry if it screws your partner, but we are talking about your progress.

maybe it's not the time... maybe it's your partner, holding you down. Try taining alone for awhile at your usual time see how that goes.

either that or pop a few ECA'a, works for me when i need a boost.

the same thing used to happen to me. I always workout afterschool on the weekdays, but every once in a while i would go to the gym on saturday mornings, and i noticed that i never felt as good about the workout on saturday mornings compaired to the ones on the weekdays. so now i just stick to the weekdays and enjoy my weekends
