is there any benefit of cracking your nunkles before you lift? Helps? Counter-Productive? No effect?

No effect. But some people really hate the sound.

So it's worth doing, every time.

ive heard cracking your knuckles can eventually lead to arthritis. then again... i do it anyway

i've seen studies that show there is no connection between cracking nuckles and arthritis.. even long term.. i dont even think that the noise you hear is bone on bone.. its just fluid pressure that actually makes the noise..

i've been going to a chiro for the past 10 years once a month and my mom has been doing it for 40 years.. so i'd guess she would have arthritis by now.. but she doesn't!!

cracking knuckles = does not lead to arthrits. Kook is right, all you hear is fluid + air moving through and around the knuckles. noise is def. not bone to bone(that would prob hurt).
