confused by simplicity
When you fry something notice how the oil saturates whatever it is you are frying. I don't know exactly how many cals and fat this would add but I would say that the overall calorie content of say a baked potato wedge and fried potatoe wedge would differ by a large amount of cals. Oil is very dense calorie wise so a little goes a long way.

It may not be healthy but I imagine there is better types of oil to use. Also if you deep fry at home you'll notice the oil level doesn't go down that much and you can wipe alot off. I wonder how much your getting? I love chopping a potato up and throwing in the fry daddy. Been almost a year. I think the oil is still in the fridge too. Need to clean that out, free up some space.
