The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    muscle media bench program

It's been pretty good for me. I'm in the fourth week of the program and my bench has already gone up about 20lbs.

My brother and I were brutal. I once chased him around the house with a spoon that I put on the burner. I burned that little pricks leg. -sharkall2003

Then I saw a little african boy sleeping, and I thought...that is little Okeke. he is tired from herding all the goats and the big goat got away today - Rock

Depends how you look at it. I'm making gains in other exersises as well. My dip strength as shot up, my barbell curls went up 5lbs as well. If you really think you are shorting the rest of your body parts, you could add a exersise or two. I added deadlifts to the back day, but keep the program pretty much as it is for it to work properly.

I'm doing that bench program as well...how do you know your bench has improved 20 lbs, though?

I'm making a couple changes to it, though..

-I'm adding Hamstring Curls on Back #1 day (I want to get as fast as I can for next LaCrosse season).
-I'm doing 4 sets of Ab exercises twice/week (hanging hip raises, weighted decline sit-ups, power sit-ups, DB Side Bends)
-and doing 2 unweighted calf sets with my ab exercises.

The only thing I'm worried about is my military press, but that's too much of an change for me to be willing to add. If I'm easily making the charts (which I think I will be, as the final set that I should have done 4x I did 8x) then I might put in 2 sets of military.

Well, When I started I used my 1 rep max as 205, which was a little under probably, because I moved up on the first failure test. I know I could do 225 now, I expect to be at 240 or so when it's over. I'm probably going to do it again after that and try to hit 275 by july which should be decent for my weight of about 150, hopefully 160 by july. What week are you on in the program?

I just started it Saturday, granted I added in the changes that I mentioned (another being that I will be going to failure the last set of BB Bench, regardless of what week it is...I feel like I can recover and make better progress that way). I finished first pull day today..
