    what to do?

    Hey,
    Any Ideas?

1 year ago, 5'8" 140 lbs, really thin.
now, 5'8" 175 lbs, been working out, cable machine.

Seem to have hit a wall, does a cable machine hinder long term results?
i am nearly at the maximum weight for the machine, with only increased reps to look forward to.

Where do i go from here?

Ps, cant affford a Gym or freeweights.
    He He He.

Have you got a job? if not get one that way you will either be able to get the membership or freeweights.

Another idea would be to concentrate on chins, dips, pull-ups/press-ups lunges, etc... and strap whatever you can to your waist when you can handle it
The only limits are the one's you place on yourself...

sounds like you are doing a great job man. congrats on the gains. have you thought about doing things like ron said? do BW stuff like pull-ups or dips, and if its too easy with your own BW, find someway to strap some weight around your waist or ankles.

Wow, working out and taking care of your family must be hard. I congratulate you

Also, are there any highschools or colleges that offer their weigh room to the public?

check out financial aid programs like at the YMCA...I have a limited income as a full time student and I make 500 a month and they let me join for 9.00 a month with finincial aid. Its a lot of paperwork, but its worth it

You are reaching the end of the usefullness of your machine. Once you max in weight, going beyond 15 or so reps will become useless for gaining mass (some would say fewer).

Bodyweight exercises could extend that what you can do at home a little longer, but without weight, this too will last only so long.

With that said, what do you expect us to say? You will need more weight to grow. Weights are found at the store, or at a gym. If you choose to neither route, you will not gain.
