The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Pop-core stuff is all right for lifting, I suppose.

I listen to a lot of Ministry, Honkeyball, Hatebreed, old Pantera, Bloodpact, Midnight Configuration, and My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult (just for kicks) when lifting.

If I'm listening to hiphop while in the gym, I like Crooked I, MOP, and some Pharoahe Monch.

Of course, the gym I usually train at plays Top 40.

Are there any good "speed metal" bands that don't grunt and yell the whole time? That would be great.

Check out Iced Earth. Some of their stuff is speed metal, and they have an operatic singer (Matt Barlow).

Not really. I just don't like the nasty grunting/screaming crap. I meant a more Rob Zombie-like type. Hard music but no crappy singing.

Pantera is a constant. Including them goes without saying.

OK OK... here is the ONLY list for lifting music . If you don't agree then you are, ummmm... not as cool as me .

Ok SLIPKNOT , Pantera , Slayer , Disturbed , Godsmack and Sepultura .

    Never ever ... Winger , Dokken , B-52's, any 80's glam bands .

I will take a couple more suggestions , but they better be good , think before you add or we might think you are a pussy .
Give me your broken , give me your beaten ... I will build them up , I will lead them ... to the threshhold . Make you stronger , make you believe .
