StaticX is always good for such thing's. I find pantera to be a touch motivating (vulgar display of power) as well as power man 5000. Ministry isn't so bad either. If your not so motivated your ready to bludgeon your forehead with some collars after that I don't know what do tell you.

Rob Zombie is awesome! Super Beast is an awesome song to listen to when lifting.

Ghetto, what do you think of Metallica? You should get their old CDs. Good for when lifting

I'm listening to Static-X, Spineshank, and some tracks off the matrix reloaded cd.. pretty good. I recomend Synthetic by spineshank or Machine by Static X. I also really love listening to Korn-Wake Up Hate.. Something about the lyrics
    "we're gunna wake up hate
    we're gunna **** you up
    I wanna break everything"
    Just gets me going.

I've really been into Flaw and Machine Head lately, ever since HomeYield recommended it. Excellent workout material.

Metal, Hardcore, Metalcore. We're all in it for the same reasons. My mistake.

    Atreyu...Ew.

The second half of the Static Lullaby album gets a little poppy, but I wouldn't say emo-core. Especially with all of the emo-core that's out now...

    Slayer.

    "Reign In Blood"

    There is no other answer.

We tend to think of Sisyphus as a tragic hero, condemned by the gods to shoulder his rock sweatily up the mountain, and again up the mountain, forever. The truth is that Sisyphus is in love with the rock. He cherishes every roughness and every ounce of it. He talks to it, sings to it. It has become the mysterious Other. He even dreams of it as he sleepwalks upward. Life is unimaginable without it, looming always above him like a huge gray moon. He doesn’t realize that at any moment he is permitted to step aside, let the rock hurtle to the bottom, and go home.

Don't like Atreyu eh? Yeah, im usually alone on that one. The lyrics are well written, but Alex's voice is a bit much. Sounds like he's drowning. Other than that, IMO i think the music is well written.

Funny story on the topic ... Me and a buddy were hitting chest pretty hard and just as my bud was about to do his heavy chest set someone shut off our cd of metallica and on came "Love Shack" by the B-52's . hahahah John is about 6"2" and about 270lbs . He stopped and yelled " who played this sh*t?" Funny as hell man .
