Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord!"

    Bigmofo, what are your goals?

Is your number one priority a bigger bench?

If it is not then perhaps its not the right training program for you..

I have read stuff on the web about it in other forums etc and many people seem to say it helped them get their bench up..

LOL, Term said it sucked.. He has had it for like a week.. I am pretty sure he did not even follow it..

It is training 5 times a week i think.... Definetely not something you might want to do if you are a low volume believer...

Why not write them and ask for some insight on the program b4 you buy ?

Well not a powerlifter, but my bench sucks so I have decided to do this program. I am not going to buy it got it for free, its basically a push pull leg split with very low volume for everything but chest which is trained twice a week, I'll try it and see how it goes..

Training body part twice a week? I would have to think that wouldn't help any. I trained my chest last tuesday. Last night (Saturday) it was still sore.

If you are working out hard enough, you shouldn't "be able to" train a body part twice a week.

REST is when you grow; it's not when you TRAIN.

If you're training for strength, you shouldn't be using pure size-building approaches, and should accordingly be able to train it twice a week.

Not true Powerman, a source you sometimes qoute, Dr. Fred Hatfield says that it sometimes takes the "big boys" 7 days or more to recover. Training frequency is dictated by genetics, relative level of development, training intensity, volume, training speed, and other factors.

    Sure, I'll buy that--

But at the same time, you can train it twice a week if you know what you're doing. Its not so much a matter of thinking in terms of doing "chest" twice a week-- you're training a movement, not a muscle. Looking at it from that angle, its a bit easier to see how it can be done. And, a lot of it is psychological.
