The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

my chest feels like its gonna split into 2 pieces...

I decided to do some inclined running today on the treadmill. Just like, 10 mins worth at a grade of 5%. Right now my chest feels like it wants to burst outwards from the inside portion of my chest. Hurts when I breathe in, walk, ect..

    Is that normal?

I think I'm fit enought cardio wise. I can do about 7km in less than 40 mins... that's not too bad.

Well if you feel like you described after an incline session, then obviously not, cardiovascular fitness is not about running fast, but about the heart and its strength, your heart probably is not as strong as you though. Also, your body was probably not used to such a load in such a manner.

Do you smoke? Cause that's my downfall with running. Running at any slope.

I agree with all that except fat.

    It's not bad. It's necessary for a bodybuilder's diet.
