    Walking lunges

    Are you supposed to go knee to the ground or part way and keep load on the muscles?

    I did these for the first time today 5 sets of 40 feet and 45dbs. While warming up to squat I realized I only had 45s, 35s and 25s. The rest are at my new house on the ez bar, I was planning on doing skulls during the week and squat/dl and bench on the weekend.
    It wasn't alot of weight but if nothing else was good cardio, my heart was pounding. Felt it in the glutes, might keep doing these. I need an ass, when bf gets low they get sore sitting.
    I won't be able to keep doing walking but might switch to regular.

    I do knee to the ground well about an inch from the ground. It's a great workout for the booty.

    i go down about as far as i can with my knee-to-the-ground.

    In track we always did knee about 1 inch from the ground.

    I either touch or roughly an inch from the ground. Feels great.

    make sure your head is up and shoulders are held back
    if you want a butt - i suggest doing reverse lunges on the (yes) smith machine. ain't no stretch/tension like this.

    You can touch the ground lightly with the knee or stop just shy of the ground, but either way, you're going for maximum ROM without taking the load/tension off the muscles

    My legs have been killing me for the past 2 days. I am pretty shocked, it was only 45dbs.

    Yeah I just did DB lunges for the first time 2 days ago (also using 45's). Still hurts like hell to walk.

    Now third day and still very sore. Usually only sore 2 days when squatting, the novellity has worn off. Think I will add them to my leg wo 3 sets of squats and 2 sets of lunges. Won't be able to do walking lunges at my new place.
