The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

I'm glad you're doing enough cardio for both of us! I don't feel so bad skipping it. I hear ya on the front delts, my shoulders are always fatigued from chest, strong effort nonetheless.

...lol, sometimes I do go too far with the cardio but I am beginning to see where I stand in this arena and where to go with it later on...Thanks for the nice comments - remember, the cables and machines are a different thing in comparison to the freeweights and nothing can beat the bb and db work.

    Cocoa,

In the span of 16 months you have increased your hack squat by 405 pounds.
That equates to an 'aproximate' progressive gain of 6.3 pounds a week for 64 weeks.

Your bench press has gone from 175 to 365 in about 17 months. That's a 190 pound increase. Holy smokes! That's an 11 pound increase every month. Most, if not all trainees will not put this kind of poundage on their bench even if they're using drugs. And, I assume you did it without a suit on, just raw. Very impressive.

You have increased your squat from 165x5 to 455x2 in 11 months. That's a 290 pound increase which again equates to a 6.5 pound increase every week.

Your leg press has gone from 200x6 to 1080x6 in aproximately 12 months. That's a 880 pound increase with a weekly increase of 17 pounds per week.

My question to you is, what was your bodyweight when you first started this journal, and what is it now?

Tell me, what's your secret, because I'm jealous of you.
