The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

RE: all the comments and excess - Well, we ARE the gayest bunch of gayboys ever.

All kidding aside (as usual) your work is tremendous. Pretty soon you'll need to stack people on top of the leg press to get more weight.

Damn, more pics Coke. I better get my act together

    Again, looking very damn good!
"It is often said, mainly by the "no-contests", that although there is no positive evidence for the existence of God, nor is there evidence against his existence. So it is best to keep an open mind and be agnostic. At first sight that seems an unassailable position, at least in the weak sense of Pascal's wager. But on second thought it seems a cop-out, because the same could be said of Father Christmas and tooth fairies. There may be fairies at the bottom of the garden. There is no evidence for it, but you can't prove that there aren't any, so shouldn't we be agnostic with respect to fairies?"

    Richard Dawkins

"Out of all of the sects in the world, we notice an uncanny coincidence: the overwhelming majority just happen to choose the one that their parents belong to. Not the sect that has the best evidence in its favour, the best miracles, the best moral code, the best cathedral, the best stained glass, the best music: when it comes to choosing from the smorgasbord of available religions, their potential virtues seem to count for nothing, compared to the matter of heredity. This is an unmistakable fact; nobody could seriously deny it. Yet people with full knowledge of the arbitrary nature of this heredity, somehow manage to go on believing in their religion, often with such fanaticism that they are prepared to murder people who follow a different one."

    Richard Dawkins

We are fortunate at our gym to possess (4) 100lbs plates and of course I use them all on the leg press, this will account for the numbers being off at first but the 90lbs increments show thereafter - it is a good movement for a change and I appreciate it more than before...there is only room now for plates on top.

At work I just take time and all through my coffee break time I think about the Chocolate Bar, ain't that some real crazy and psychotic type $hit, lol - ...WBB and journal land in particular will always hold a special place in my heart for some reason or another. Everyone is beautiful in their own way and I wish to extend mucho gratitude to all the fine people who bring their own unique flavor to the mix - no wonder I hold this place so dear.

You been taking them estrogen pills again coke?! next you'll be telling us about watching pretty woman and using up whole boxes of kleenex! j/k

Nice workout! pushing the big weights as always. I think you just go to show that strength builds size period. If it didnt doing 2 reps at 355 would leave you with a tiny chest, which obviously aint the case!

Leg press is huge, as with the bench.

I'll be on the brink of overtraining soon as I will have done everything twice within a week...it is for my own good to see where I stand with this experiment. The deadlifts could have been better but I know my back was fried, as some like to say here...so I continued with numerous sets of rack deadlifts and I think I may just stay with this move instead of the regular/conventional deads. Down the line I can also lift from the ground and tweak that movement. I tried some staggered sets on the alternate db curls and kind of liked them.
