Nice job with the full body workouts. Are you doing them because you are pressed for time or just a new setup.

Good stuff man. I did a tulle body program for a while and was making a lot of progress. Plus I always felt like I'd done more work when I left the gym.

Thanks guys, goal is to keep moving on same as always - business as usual, lol.

    June 17, 2011 - FRIDAY

    UPPER BODY

    PULLUPS
    bw+85 x 6, bw+100 x 4
    bw+115 x 4, bw+130 x 4

    BB ROWS
    295 x 6, 355 x 6, 425 x 3

    ALTERNATE DB CURLS
    40 x 6, 45 x 6, 50 x 6

    SEATED ROW CABLE CURLS
    80 x 8, 90 x 8, 100 x 6

    BB SHRUGS
    425 x 6, 485 x 4, 545 x 4

    CABLE LATERAL RAISES
    70 x 8, 70 x 8, 70 x 8

    HS SHOULDER PRESS
    110 x 8, 140 x 8, 180 x 8

Surprised myself with the pullups, just went right at the added 130lbs and nailed it.

This upper body session, and even moreso the whole body work I have been throwing in here and there lately, basically reflects some sort of transition taking place - which is hopefully a good thing.

tip of the day: It's not a bad deal to go against the grain at times, but you will really make more steady progress if you follow some type of plan or outline no matter what you do. That is why I was so fond of the push-pull-leg split. Take note though, whatever you plan to do will work if you are at it steadily.
