The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Nutty volume as usual. I tried a coke-volume workout tonight and it was pretty much cardio.

This has not been the best winter with the lifting but still not bad in the overall scheme of things.

Took another breather of sorts and to be honest, it was the best thing for me too, especially after all these years of training. And although I have not done it, the truly serious lifters and competitors should probably take a whole month off or thereabouts at some point. That's only if you've been training for years and years consistently and live it day in and day out.

The nearly two weeks off was awesome in my case...seems to be more of an instinctual thing, really feeling in tune with my body after regrouping last couple of sessions. Also feeling a renewed sense of drive and energy as well.
