The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Am I doing something wrong?

When I go to the gym to perform the #1 WBB routine, I never take more than 40 minutes. Am I doing something wrong? I wss in the gym for 25 minutes today :/ and I had time to do my chest and my back as the WBB #1 routine states, I'm feeling the pain afterwards and the day after, but it just seems like I don't take long enough, And I usually do all the exercises mentioned.

Are you doing enough weight? Doing all exercises in a slow, controlled manner? Resting 1-2 minutes between reps?

Try concentrating on your form only. Go slowly and think form. You'll find it takes a little longer. Don't race through it. 40 minutes sounds alright. But 25 minutes sounds like you're rushing.

WBB1 was a bit on the short side for me too but it worked... It took me on average about an hour per workout. If you are only going for 25 mins that may mean you are not taking sufficient rest inbetween sets.

I tried hard today, I was doing abs, I took like 30 minutes, I also added a few because the WBB routine seems to lack proper abdonminal exercises. 30 minutes for abs is alright, right?

30 mins for abs!? It's taking you 25 minutes to do your entire routine and 30 minutes for abs? It sounds like you're doing something wrong IMO.

Opps, sorry, I guess I forgot to mention I read what you posted and took your advice, and abs took me 30 minutes after I took the advice. Chest, tris and bis took me 50 minutes. Big improvement for me :P
