The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Itchy mosquito bites! Agh!

I went camping in Algonquin last weekend and all my mosquito bites are really starting to itch. Anyone got any home remedies or know of some stuff I could buy at the pharmacy?

Benadryl (diphenhydramine) lotion, ointment, or cream- whatever it says on the bottle.

When I was a kid I used to get some saliva on my fingertip and rub it into the bite. It seemed to work back then. I'd try it now but it might look a little weird.

I think rubbing alcohol works quite well for me. Just a little bit on for the bug bite then a little for the DR. Ok just kidding that stuff will make you blind. Well unless you run it through a loaf of bread but lets save that for another day.

Using chigger bit medicine works alot. But using super glue also works great. Just put a touch of it in the center of the bite then spread it around the swealling.

no I'm being serious. It may sound like I'm joking but that's what I use. If you been scratching at it, it may burn just a tad like putting alcohol on it, but it will go away.

Ammonia works well. I swear by this stuff called "Tender's After Bite. " You can find it in most drug stores. It burns like hell at first, like alcohol, but the relief is quick and it reduces the swelling quickly.

In addition to that, take some benadryl for the itching and swelling, and also to help you sleep at night.

Onions supposedly help too They have to be put to use right after the bite though, so I guess they wont help you much now :/
