    hmmm I would think a fair bit..

    I am not sure how much they come into play...

    However lats are my weakest bp and bench is my weakest exercise...

    The lats and much of the upper back musculature comes into play as stabilizers. Hold your shoulder blades together and contract your lats as tightly as possible during a bench, and you'll notice a difference. It makes the bottom portion more "springy," and seems to give an added push at the bottom.
    Vin Diesel has a fever.. and the only prescription is more cowbell.
