need some info about natural protien

Hello, i'm new to this board and I think it's a great resource.
    I'm have two questions.
One, is there a place that lists the approx. amount of protien in food, such a chicken breast, 8oz. steak, etc....
And TWO, are they're carbs in fruit and veggies???? I mean if one is on a protien diet, should they also avoid fruit and veggies????

    Hey! Welcome abroad..
    1) http://www.cyberdiet.com/ni/htdocs/
2)All fruits primaly contain carbs (fructose,a simple carbohydrate).
Avocados are the only exception as they contain fat.So they're the only fruit you can eat when on a ketogenic diet.
Btw,what do you mean on a protein diet?

yeah what do you mean by a protein diet..

Do you just mean you are trying to eat low carbs..

Veggies do contani carbs although low amounts and for their fibre source it is generally ok to eat them in small amounts if you are staying low carb..

For example I do not count the carbs in veggies in my diet..

    Ultimate searchable database.

A diet with NO fruits and vegetables is not a healthy diet.
