    sumo DL better for injured knee?

    Injured my knee back in March. I was pulling fine for several months afterward, but now its starting to bother me. Would a wider stance help?

    It may help some, but if you were pulling for a while afterward with no problem then it may be due to something else. Did you add or change anything else that may have caused the knee pain? Squatting is typically the culprit more often that deadlifting with knee issues.
    With that said, the sumo DL may help or it may not. With the sumo DL you often have less forward inclination of the knee but you have a greater ROM at the knee with more knee bend.
