The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Finally saying 'Hi'

I just wanted to say 'Hi' to all. I've been reading the board for some time now, and just now decided to introduce myself.

    So here I am:
I live in Houston. I say "y'all " a lot, but I don't have a typical Texan accent. I'm 6' tall and weigh 210 lbs. I've been working out for about two years now, natural. I'm 30 years old and I do computer stuff at work. I think thats about it.

Oh - I have two dogs, a wife, and a truck. 1st baby (a boy!!!) is due in September.

Mostly I just want to get bigger.

Anyway, I plan on getting a journal going soon.

    see ya' !

SquareHead - Yep. I am a little worried about keeping up a good routine with the baby coming... Probably I'll end up going into "maintenance mode" for a while, then I'll get back into it.

hmm, I have been at it for the past two years though. I had tried to get into bodybuilding before that, but it wasn't until I saw 30 coming on fast that I really committed myself to the gym. I've been there 4 and 5 days a week since I was 28, except for this January, when I took a couple weeks off because of a heart defect repair procedure.

    I stand corrected.

Nope - mostly Scottish (by way of Canada ) and Greek heritage.

Heh... My dad was also in the US army stationed there for a while, so we lived there for a little over a year. I also took 3 years of german in high school and had a crush on a German foreign exchange student for a while... Aber mein Deutsch ist noch sehr schlecht. Couldn't understand a word if you spoke it to me by now. I could probably pick apart the basic meaning of German text, though.

Nope - not a jarhead. Don't have the tolerance for being told what to do, if that makes any sense.

    *lmao*

teufelhund is what the german's called marines in WWII. I believe that's the origin of calling em devildogs.

don't be surprised if some jarhead gives you strife about that name.
