    Triceps hurt when I punch

    I do martial arts.
    Dunno if this belongs in a lifting forums or a martial arts forums.
    When I do rapid repeated punches my triceps hurt and give out after a few punches.
    Do I need to work on my tris?
    Stretch them?

    Yes I am locking.
    Trying it right now...
    feels better not locking..
    I was locking, so I could pull back faster.
    I still feel a little discomfort not locking though.

    Yeah, first of all, don't go full out shadow boxing, and second of all, don't go to the limit of your reach and lockout. This is really hard on your joints. The only thing worse is when the retards put on the wrist weights and start doing it.

    Shadow boxing is for form, quickness, and getting a sweat up, if you are going to be practicing power shots hit a bag, and use wraps and gloves.
