    critique my routine now

    here is my routine,very similar to wbb routine 3 but with some changes

    Day 1/Chest+back

    Incline Dumbbell Press

    Flat Flys

    Dips

    Back

    Close Underhand Grip Chins

    Bent Over Row

    Deadlift


    Day 2 /Rest


    Day 3/Legs

    Squat

    Lunges (walking lunges using dumbbells)

    Leg Extensions

    Calve raises


    Day 4/Rest


    Day 5/Shoulders/Biceps/Triceps

    Standing Military Press

    Lateral Raises

    Triceps Dumbbell Close Grip Press

    Skull Crushers

    Barbell Curl

    Concentration Curl

    all are 2 sets to failure
    anythin you think i should add/change?

    well i see one major problem, you have 2 big bodyparts together, and alot of smaller ones together.


    give chest and back their own day, pair biceps with back, and triceps and shoulders with chest.

    2 sets to failure could be ok, but usually i would reccomend at leats 3 good sets, but if your going to failure it should be ok

    Hi D.Boy,

    I think your routine for a young natural? lifter is pants. Sorry from what I have learnt myself into pre-steroid training the results that can be achieved you could do so much better.

    If you want to educate yourself read the book Beyond Brawn by Stuart Mc Robert (Will be in Manchesters Waterstones shop) and then contact its Round Table web-discussion site and follow the beginners routine

    I would just add Stiff Leg Dead Lifts or Leg curls for your hammies on leg day, maybe some shrugs on back day. Everything else looks fine.
