A whole egg only has 1.5 grams of saturated fat, and cholesterol has little effect on your cholesterol levels.

Best way to cook eggs without adding fat (butter/oil)

    1. buy a good ($30+) nonstick frying pan (t-Fal, teflon, etc)
    2. don't let anyone make eggs in it with a fork when they're drunk. This will ruin the nonstick coating
    3. after every time you use it, wipe it clean with a paper towel. No need to wash it. Don't use soap.
    4. Rub a little olive oil into it once a week.

The yolk is not unhealthy, but most people discard the yolks due to the fat content. I usually just eat the white and then get my fat from other sources, such as olive oil or fish oil. Although if you want to eat the yolks, then go ahead. The yolk contains approximately half the protein of the egg, and also contains vitamins/minerals.
