dizzarn! that's alot of pounds! Awefully narrow stance for such high weight, too.
Pup, in reference to me: "he's like Budiak...but worse"

Budiak: "Statistically I've gained almost an inch on my arms...but thats just theory, and we know what theory gets us. Thats right. Communism."

BigChaseyChase: "Cutting, there will not be!"

sir millard mulch: "I could probably punch some chick really hard at this point"

Galileo - "Someday maybe I'll be able to use the big boy weights like RG570."

That was truly amazing! If that really is in the mid 9s, then his squat blows away those of Mikesell etc. in my mind. Of course, you never know what is under that shirt. That guy is a huge man!

Don Reinhoudt was doing over 900 way back in 74-75, and he had a 2420 total before bench shirts, squat suits, briefs, and all of the other crap. He also didn't use wraps like the guys use today from any pictures I have ever seen. As a difference, Don used a much wider, more typical powerlifter stance. I think a narrow stance squat is more impressive.

I am not sure what the point was concerning Don. He was a beast who set a total record that is not much behind that of today with all of the ridiculous equipment in use. Any man that could equal Don without a suit is pretty darn amazing in my book (and he is actually lifting more than Don did). This is especially true with the style in which he squatted the weight (and no mono-lift etc.).

To just put the 925lb squat in perspective. Dons squat was wide (about 1.5shoulder width but it looks wider cos Don was LARGE), but not as wide as currently used (al la westside). Don also did it before trye squat suits (but also did use a tight fitting suit).
Vova or whatever his name was looks like hes wearing briefs (which help nicely) or just a suit (cant see his upper body)

Very impressive stuff. He must be some Russian heavyweight Oly. lifter. He appears to be wearing a suit, or at least breifs, but he was most definately wearing Inzer Z-wraps on his knees.

The guy is a monster for sure, and must have an unimaginably strong lower back, cause he almost lost that weight forward and was able to come back and get it.

It does occur to me that they were using bumper plates. I am not familiar enough with them to judge the weight used, but I do know that some of the ones I have seen in local high school football gyms looked to me like 45's but were actually 25's and the 45 lb plates looked more like 100's in size. But I am sure they are different sized depending upon the manufacturer.

Very impressive squat, that was clearly low enough to pass in any powerlifting meet I have ever seen.

You can tell from the colours of the plates...

Red are 25kg, blue are 20kg, yellow 15kg, cant remember below that, usually are black. The greens are 50kg
