The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

You are paying the shipping in one form or another. The "free shipping" sites jack up the cost and sometimes charge more than sites that have an explicit shipping charge. You just have to compare total prices and find the best deal you can.

I paid $180 for an olympic bench, bar and 195lbs worth of weight at walmart. It has decline, incline and feels rock solid, no wobble whatsoever it rocks. I picked up a curl bar with dumbell handles there for $30 a few days ago and two 25's at like 10-15 dollars a piece, forgot how much they were. Now I just need a squat rack and pullup bar but I'm broke. Anyways walmart is a cheap place for stuff like that, although I didn't see any squat racks or pullup bars there. I think a good squat rack is like 170-200 and a pullup bar is like 10-20 dollars. That's all you really need for a full body workout. It's definitely worth getting your own equipment, goodluck man!

Edit - Actually I'm 99% sure I bought other stuff that day, batteries I think it was and something else, so it was actually less than $180.

yeah i would shop at my local stores but a lot of the good stuff is totally overpriced or is sold out. And the only good places for equiptment around wher i live is dicks and sports authority and they dont have much of a selection

Dedicated- i have a pass to the gym now i started going the other day so i dont want to spend to much extra money for stuff at home. The only reason i was curious was b.c my borther doesnt wanna lift at the gym he wants to lift at home, il talk to him about checkin out walmart for some stuff since you told me.

Delphi- yeah that is true, i checked out a site and a lat pulldown was like 450$ lol i was like WTF its obviously jackin up the price b/c of shipping and handeling b/c that machines not worth that much money.
