    Bigger, stronger, faster! GREAT routine!

    1st
Breathing Squat 2 good warmup sets of 10-12 followed by one balls to the wall set of 20 rep breathing squat.
    Heavy Deadlift 5x3
Hang From Chin Bar at top position of chin x2 (hang on as long as possible until your mind tells you to quit)

Wait at least 3 days and:

    2nd
    Power Clean 5-8x3
    Bottom Position Squats 5x1
Push Press from rack 5x5 or 5-6 heavier singles.

Warm-up each session with some light aerobic work or a couple sets of light clean and press along with some good stretching. Sprint 2x per week uphill or 10x40 yards, abs., and neck work or wrestler bridges. Eat lots of protien and drink a lot of water. Eat hard, train hard, rest hard = growth.

This routine is simply awesome! It's got everything you need to get big, stong, and fast. I switch off push presses with bench presses every week, just my preference.
    Squat...Eat...Sleep...Grow!

    Carpe diem

Milk.... it does the body good.

    Umm-- just one small point:

Doing FIVE heavy triples on the dead after 3 hard sets of squats = not a good thing.

Doing deads and squats within 3 days of each other is gonna hurt. IMO

5x3 deadlifts is 2 sets of warmup, then 3 of hard work.

The first 2 sets of breathing squats are warmups, nothing hard.

Rest longer in between days if you want. 3 days is minimum.

If you weren't impressed, I doubt you were doing it right, as in diet, consistency, intensity, rest. No one I know that has tried this has been dissapointed with the results.

Still-- just from personal experience-- after even one set of 20 rep squats, there's no way I could pull even one triple on the dead-- not enough to mean anything-- let alone 3.

chicken, that is the last time you are gonna tell me i train like a pussy, understood, i'm not kidding.

I'm not trying to be a jerk here, but i've had enough of 15 year olds telling me i don't train right or don't train with intensity, so if you don't agree with me, fine, but you will not insult me, period.

Ok, seeing how you think this is a great program, i shall detail the whole thing and let the guys see what they think.

Week 1- Monday-towel bench-3x3 box squat-3x3, plus six auxiliary lifts, not necessarily all for one bodypart

    Tuesday-plyometrics

Wednesday-powerclean-3x3, deadlift-3x3, plus six auxiliary lifts

Thursday-jump rope and dot drill (not everyone uses dot drill)

Friday-deep squat-3x3, regular bench-3x3, plus six auxiliary lifts

This routine goes in four week cycles, the rep scheme for the first week is 3x3, then its 3x5, then its 5,4,3,2,1, then its 10, 8, 6 and then you repeat the cycle.

Whoa man never said that. I'm perfectly aware that you could kick my ass and I'm sure you know more than me and blah blah blah. But were you like that when you tried it? Maybe maybe not. Your routine is quite different.

Powerman, its quite possible to do a triple in deadlifts anytime. You might be horribly tired, about to hurl, or something else equally enjoyable but you can always do it, and do it for your max triple. I haven't gone completely all out on the 20 rep squats yet, but I plan to next week =P. I'll tell ya how I do.

Ok, just for example-- I can pull somewhere around 370-375 for a triple. Now, there's absolutely no way in hell that I'd be able to get that after a 20 rep squat. It ain't gonna happen.

But if you want to try it, knock yourself out. My money says you won't last two weeks with it.

Then lower weight. The point is to use the most weight you can at the time, not a set weight.
