Hi guys, got a big problem. Whenever I work my legs at the gym the next day I have severe pain and swelling of my hamstrings. This lasts for up to a week. Should I use the R.I.C.E after my workout just in case as it always seems to happen even if I`ve hardly teained the hams. However my quads never get sore. I realise hams are smaller than quads and are more for endurance but this is causing a real problem for me. As I`m writing this I`m in excruciating pain. I cannot even straighten my legs my hams are so tight and I`ve tried stretching them with no luck. Have I got myself a severe muscle imbalance here or what? Gotta go get some ice. Any advice from you guys would be appreciated.
