Basically I was told to get other peoples opinions on the workout my coach set for me before i went and followed it so hastily. Im an Oly lifter and this was the workout I did today which is really different than anything we have been doing for the past few weeks
Squats 2x10@60% 2x10@65% 1x8@70%
Here is an example of a different workout we did
Jerks 2x5@70% 2x5@75% 1x5@80%
Jerk press 4x5
Lat Pulldowns 3x8
Back Extensions 3x12
I've seen different sources recommend lower reps for both the snatch and clean and jerk. Basically the reasoning behind it is that the movements are supposed to be smooth and centered around making the most efficient movements possible. When working with mid range reps, the body fatigues as the set goes on, and form alters as the set progresses.

I think i didn't ask my question correctly what i meant to say was that the coach has changed the normal workout for some reason to these numbers instead of doing the normal 3's and 2's and 5-8's on squats and stuff like that which he has been having us do for 2-1/2 weeks now
