    Thanks geoff. I've really been feeling strong on the deads every time out.

    And 270 is nothing to sneeze at. That's some good weight man.

    I will have to end the competition early. I am having some issues with my lower back and I need to give it some rest. This sunday I will go for my 6RM. After that, it's no DL'ing (and a few other lifts) for at least 1 month.
    I hope to do at least 365. I might try 375, but it all depends on how I feel. 365=+40 and 375=+50. I might go halfway and try 370=+45. I'm also planning on taping and posting it somehow.

    I have a half video of my attempt. My wife was shooting it and somehow made the clip stop after the 3rd rep. Was a little bummed but it was good to see my form. Wasn't to bad by the look of it.

    3 Reps of 6 Rep Max. Right click and save file or you can stream it.

    I've had some really good gains on a chest press machine. I've gone from 165lbs 6,4 reps to 210lbs 7x4 in a couple months.

    I pulled 350x6 today. That's a +45 with 2 weeks to go.

    I've been dealing with some tough personal issues of late that have been consuming all my thoughts and energy.
    I haven't been able to get to the gym or care for my diet. (lost about 6 hard gained lbs in 4days!)
    I dont think I will do much in the gym anytime soon so I'm gonna bail on this.

    Yea well caca happens. I was hoping to go much higher but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Funny thing is, I hurt myself around the same time last year. Go figure. I guess December is cursed for me.

    This is my first time viewing this thread. I would like to join late. My squat max on 10/9 was 315lb. This lift as well as my other lifts are all listed in my journal. On Saturday, I squatted 345x8. I plan to do 355x~7 on 12/7 and 365x~6 on 12/15.

    So I guess today is the last day of the contest?

    I did my workout this morning, so my final lift is 360x6 for Deadlift. Started at 305. Total increase = 55

    I squatted 365x6 this morning for a 50lb increase. If I knew you were going to reach a 55lb increase, I might have attempted 370.

    lemme get this straight, just whatever your highest weight you benched for 6 reps right? Count me in, I got 225 * 6 @ 175 body weight

    Edit- this was a semester ago though, Right now I can do 6 rep max for incline - 185*6 - Hope I got this thread straight
