    Critique my routine

    Hi guys, longtime lurker here.

I've been lifting seriously for about five years now, I was hoping for a little input on my current routine. I'm 6'1", about 165 lbs. I'm not sure about body fat %, probably somewhere around 7 or 8. As for goals, I just want to be able to do more weight in all my lifts, and maybe put on 5 or 10 pounds. I use the same weight for every set and rest for a minute between each set.

    Day 1:
    Barbell squat - 3 sets
    Walking lunges - 2 sets
    Leg press - 2 sets
    Hamstring 21 (leg curl machine)
Seated calf raises - 1 set
Standing calf raises - 1 set

    Day 2 - cardio

    Day 3:
    Flat bench - 3 sets
    Incline bench - 2 sets
    Decline bench - 2 sets
    Military press - 3 sets
    Upright row - 2 sets
    Dips - 2 sets

    Day 4: rest

    Day 5:
    SL deadlift - 3 sets
Lower back ext. - 2 sets
    Pullups - 3 sets
    Bentover row - 3 sets
DB bicep curl - 1 set

    Day 6: rest or cardio

    Rinse and repeat.

I'd like to see more pulling (or less pressing). You don't need to do incline, flat, decline and dips. I'd pick two.

I'd put the SL Dead on leg day.
    Squats work better than supplements.
"You know, if I thought like that, I'd never put more than one plate on the bar for anything, I'd never use bands or chains, I'd never squat to parallel or below, and I'd never let out the slightest grunt when I lift. At some point in your lifting career (assuming you're planning on getting reasonably strong and big), you're going to have to accept that most people think you are some kind of freak." -Sensei
"You're wrong, and I have a completely irrelevant pubmed abstract that may or may not say so." - Belial
    I has a blog.
    I has a facebook.
