    lol the videos of each are exactly the same for that site no wonder your confused..

    Pull ups, chins ups... They mean the same to me..

    You grab a bar and chin or pull yourself up

    pullup = palms away from you (pronated).
    works lats harder, biceps less.

    chinup = palms toward you (supinated).
    easier to do because this position more favorable for biceps.

    to me I have just thought of them both as the same exercises..

    Its up to you how you grip..

    I actually use like a 45 degree turned grip for them.. With them for the most facing in..

    So maybe I do pull chin ups lol..

    When you perform pull ups do you inhale on your way up or down?

    You just breathe naturally, if you are thinking about it, you are not concentrating fully on the exercise. All of the breathing stuff discussed here is pure bullshit! When you train with weights, you just breathe naturally, your breathing mechanism is a wonderful thing.

    Dont you have to inhale when you do the contraction?

    From what you have said it shows that doesnt matter when you inhale and exhale!

    Exactly what part of that post was ambiguous? Just allow your body to handle the breathing thing and concentrate on completing the rep.
