    Better for Strength

    Hey guys, I just read an article on Periodization. I was wondering which is better for increasing the bench press. A periodization routine ( like 8 weeks of 3*10, 8 of 3*5-7, and 5 at 3*3) or just heavy training (like 3*5 or maybe 3*3). Thank you.

    For single rep strength you must perform sets of 1,2,or 3 reps. This along with other factors will give you better strength.

    Try using "wave" periodization-- cycle the numbers every few weeks.
    Vin Diesel has a fever.. and the only prescription is more cowbell.
