The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Any local legends from your town?

Any weird, iffy stories going around where you live, about where you live?

An old man in my town is said to be the illegitimate child of Winston Churchill.

I think it's a load of old bollocks.

People wonder why I call myself Mr. T. One dude asked, 'does the T stand for tough?' I said no. Another dude asked if the T stands for my last name, Tureaud. No it does not. The 'T' in Mr. T stands for tuna. T loves tuna.

Well this isn't a legend but true. There was a satanic cult/family that lived down a gravel road near my friends house.About 10/12 of them.

They did the whole robes and sacrificing animals thing. But it's odd because they were peaceful citizens and would buy there animals for sacrifice from local farmers.Shop in the local stores.Everything seemed normal. Nothing like movies makes them out to be.

    Chris Mason is my master.....

American cars are like fat people, sure, they have a lot of power, but they're not built well, and they have all that useless weight, plus they make both make funny noises.

feel free to aim me, nejar462 im on a lot. Don't know much to warn you dudes, but im good at conversations.

Belial in reference to Ronnie Coleman, "Some people say he still has blood in his steroid stream, but I doubt it. Gas isn't one of the side effects, but that massive bloated overly muscular freak of nature circus sideshow appearance might be what tips most people off."

there is a road here in NJ that is clearly on a downward slope.
Its an off ramp from a highway in northern NJ. If you stop your car on the hill your car will actually roll backwards UP the hill.

I thought this was TOTAL BS...till I tried it. I nearly puked all over myself cuz it was such a mind fuc.

Well being from Louisiana we got voodoo everywhere. The real shiznit too. It's an organised religion here in central Louisiana.Just as Catholiscim (sp?) or Buddhism.Take your choice from zombies to potions. We've heard it all.

The most odd was a teenager who was decapitated {train wreck} and supposedly walked home over 2 miles away and knocked on his own door to get in.

Then there is all the hauntings in the cemeteries.Esp if you go to New Orleans.Supposedly whatever you pray/wish @ the grave of Voodoo Quenn Marie LeVou and leave a $1 will come true.

Then there are is the Lu'pe Guroo; a swamp werewolf in the Atchafalya basin.Tons of bodies were found in the 1960's torn to shreds, and not typical "alligator torn to shreds".big diff in the way the bodies were mangled.

Then there are the supposed Vampires of New Orleans.Ann rice is supposedly draws her inspiration from stories they tell.

And the whore house that an Arab prince ran away too;his uncle supposedly had him killed an the house is haunted. His uncle wanted to usurp the throne.

Our state capitol is supposed to be haunted by the Kingfish; Gov. Huey P. Long...He was assasinated there.

And on the cheesey actors side.

Ann rice has a ball every halloween. All the political bigwigs go.

And Trent Reznor has a home in the Quarters.Manson stayed there while workn on his 2nd/or 3rd album.

And John Goodman; John Laroquette all have homes there.

And Phil Amselmo of Pantera/Superjoint Ritual has a haunted house every yr. in the warehouse district. All the money he makes one yr rolls over to the next yr. just to improve upon the haunted house.Last time i went it was 4 floors of haunted house.

One of Thomas Edison's boyhood homes is in Port Huron, MI, actually. For all I know, he was born there. Not sure.

Tiger Woods, Edward Van Halen, Ronnie Coleman, and Tom Cruise were all born in my town of Grand Blanc.

    Not.

Truthfully, the only "legend" I can think of is a guy who graduated from my highschool who went on to voice one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
