i haev a treadmill and ive been going 30min a day to burn the fat is that enough time on the treadmill or not enough?
I've heard from more than a few sources that you need to elevate your heart rate for at least 20-30 minutes to start burning fat, so you should be good to go, assuming you're working up a decent sweat
heh ya i am thing that makes me mad is my calves burn so much o well no pain no gain..
I'd shoot for 45 minutes per session 4 times per week
be sure to monitor your heart rate as thats key
also the interval/step/ladder type routines are best
Final comment, treadmills can shorten your stride, and provide just as much shock to your joints as running, so you'd probably be better off on a lower impact device like an eliptical machine
I use a threadmill for my cardio, i do long strides tho.. i would do HIIT but since i broke my ankle the Dr. says i should not run since its way too much pressure, anyway.. i would use a bike... but... the hip abduction thingy that all the hot women use is RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE TREADMILLS
