Good session. I wasn't sure how I'd feel since today at work I was drilling into cement and cutting pipes all day. The 2 boards with the monster minis was a PR because I have never doen them with those bands. I hit 190+MMD on 3-boards 2 weeks ago and the 170 set today was easy, so not too bad.
For a second exercise, we took the bands off and shirted up. I put Pete's shirt on just to prove it is too tight for him. I smoked 290 in it with a PR coming in of 315. When I took 320 out, I never got it fully over my wrists and elbows and it just started to fall fast towards the boards so they took it. Instead of messing with that shirt anymore I put mine on. 320 was pretty easy, but didn't feel light. 340 started to come down ok and then I pretty much dropped it the last 2". I was about to tell them to take it, but just started pressing and it kept going. I decided to take one shot at my goal of 350 and I kept my arch better and remained tighter. It popped up good and just stopped. I usually lose it at this point, but I just kept pushing and I popped it the last 2" strong and held it. Big PR. In 2 weeks I'll do it off the 1-board.
Finished with some lockouts. I am going to work up to 2-3 heavy singles every other week and try and add 5-10 lbs each time.
