I've been getting 6 hours of sleep each night this week. I feel a little tired when I wake up. Is this going to have adverse effects on my training and muscle development??? I'm eating right still....
Something has been taken from deep inside of me
The secret Iíve kept locked away no one can ever see
Wounds so deep they never show they never go away
Like moving pictures in my head for years and years theyíve played
It could. Deep sleep (REM) is when your body repairs itself. Usually 8 hours is the recommended minimum, but some people can adjust to less hours.

I have nothing scientific to back this up but I think sleep plays a huge part in gaining muscle. Whenever I have a bad workout I blame it on either
not enough sleep
not enough food
not enough recovery time
6 hours seems slim, try to get more. I usually get between 6-9 hours myself, and it's a constant battle to try to get more for me.
