The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Routine And Running Questions

i was wondering what u guys think about full-body work outs 3 times a week..
i used to have this routine:

    M]Chest
    T] Bicep, Shoulder, Forearms
    W]Legs
    TH]Triceps, Back
    F]Chest
    Sat]RUNNING
    Sun]Bicep, Shoulder Forearms

But im starting to do full body workouts like this

    M] ALL
    Tues] OFF
    Wednesday] ALL
    Thursday] OFF
    Friday] ALL
    Saturday Off
    Sunday] Running

What u think is better? I switched to this so that i can do my chest and biceps more...also i was wondering what u guys feel about running? Do u think it is ok to run on the same day u lift? If so, do u think before u lift or after? Also if i wanted to really really seriously build muscle should i just not run at all and allow my body to solely work on building?

Hey bro, where in Jer-z? I'm out in Hunterdon County.

anyway, working full body is fine, although some may argue that its not the best approach for muscle building.

only thing you want to watch is that you dont do to much volume.

Try to keep your weekly volume per body part in the 7-13 set range.

also i was wondering what u guys feel about running? Do u think it is ok to run on the same day u lift? If so, do u think before u lift or after? Also if i wanted to really really seriously build muscle should i just not run at all and allow my body to solely work on building?
if your serious about building muscle then I see little reason that you should run, with the exception of warmups

Have you checked out this site? www.hypertrophy-specific.com

I've had good luck with WBB #1, but I've since become a big fan of fullbody 3x-a-week routines. I have the impression that I'm growing faster and more consistently since starting HST. Hope this helps.
