Hi. i took about 3 weeks off my workout for xmas-new years. The other night, I got back to the gym to hit my arms. I split my workout over 5 days. Anyway, I did about 4x10 of the following: ez bar curls, incline curls, hammer curls, triceps pulldowns and overhead cable extensions. Naturally, my arms are pretty sore today, but what’s even sorer are my abs. my question is, is this normal? Something tells me I’m probably doing something wrong... If my abs get worked this hard when I work my arms, do I still need to work my abs separately? Thanks. -Andrew
Sounds like you're putting a lot of stress on your midsection, and probably your back too. You should probably lower your weights a bit, or try using a preacher bench for some of your curls.
