One Legged Calf Raises, I have experienced sore calves!
A while ago I posted about never having experienced sore calves because I workout at home and don't have any machines to hit the calves with. I had tried 45lb plates with a barbell on my back while standing on various boxes, all kinds of pieces of wood, and so forth. Well now my calves are sore and doing One Legged Calf Raises on a small ledge are what I have to thank for it. Seeing as how I have to keep my hands free to maintain balance, I was thinking maybe adding weight with a backpack so I could measure progression a little better. I did 3 sets of 10 using my bodyweight and my calves are killing me. Has anyone else seen there calves grow on these?
