Im not sure how long I should bulk, before I start cutting. When I started BB I was at 140 (I dont know my BF, but my abs were visible). Since then, over the past 2 months, I have gone up to about 165 (Still dont know my BF, but my abs are no longer visible).
Is there a standard, or a certain time that it is recommended to bulk, and then to cut? Im still making gaines, but the BF is getting up there (Im one of those people who can gain and lose weight rather easily). Also, my weight has remained static, at 165, for a week or so.
So should I cut, or keep bulking and for how long?
It's all up to you; do you what you want to do.
Have you reached your goals in bulking? If yes, than you might be ready to cut down a bit.

I see, so I can pretty much bulk and cut when I want to? What about CM, I have never used it and I am about to. I read on a thread in the Anabolic Board, that it is best to start a cycle when cutting. What should I do with CM (if I start cutting for example), take it because it will help me preserve more muscle, or wait until I start bulking again, and take it when I am sure to make gaines?

What about the Creatine guys, should I wait until I start bulking again, or use it when I start cutting?
Right now I'm bulking as well. To make a decision when to stop bulking and cut instead, I normally check my weight. If it's the desired weight and I notice my entire body getting buff enough, than I'll get lean. Of course, you can always bulk again after a cutting season. It goes on and off. I'll use creatine if I'm bulking.
I usually set a number limit, like 6 weeks or 20-30lbs.

yeah good idea. set yourself a goal such as 'i wanna be 200lbs before i cut' or 'i wanna add another 15lbs before i cut'.
