Hi all,
I have just been back in the gym for a couple of months. I am still getting the diet under control.

my stats - 5'10", 230#, 38yo

The 230 isn't nearly as bad as it sounds, i am wide through the shoulders and chest naturally.

I know for a few weeks i had cut my calories waaay too much (1600-1800) daily, and i am trying to get between 2500-3000. I lift 2on/1off/2on/2off with cardio on wednesday and sat(off days).

Finally the question. I want to keep burning the fat, while putting on some muscle. I am seeing some change already, but thought i would check to see if what i am doing sounded like the way to go.
