    Hard muscles...

I've been lifting for about a year and half now and my muscles don't really feel HARD. Even when I flex they don't feel hard, is it just because I haven't been lifting real long or do I need to take a supplement?

I'm not exactly sure and its been a while since I checked. I'm sure its pretty high because I haven't exactly been eating the way I should. Could this be the cause?

Think you answered that one. If you aren't eating right and have excess fat, a pretty high BF% you won't feel a/the gain(s).
I'm not moaning, i'm having an opinion.

If you stay to a fairly strict diet, train hard and lower the BF then you'll have no probs 'feeling the hard muscle'.
