I was just curious on how much weight you guys have added in your weight training on bench pressing
I'll start it off..
I've been working out 2 1/2 years and I started at age 15
Starting Bench Weight - max = 75/reps of 8-10 = 55
Current Bench Weight - max = 185/reps of 8-10 = 145
Started at 17 with 135 for couple of reps
Now im 18 and i can rep 205 2-3 times
16 years old: 95 x 6
19 years old: 245 x 5 and gained 40 pounds
7/18/03 -- 185x1
2/16/04 -- 245x1

" You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that!" I never really worked on lifting for strength until the start of 2003.
In one year I went from 110 1rep max to 150.
I think to go further I would need to put on mass which I may do after the summer. Currently focused on seeing my six pack.
If the only thing you are holding is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
14-around 100. Don't know, it wasn't really safe to max on my bench.

i dont know what you meant by this but ive been attending CIte Collegiale in Ottawa since September in Heating/RefrigerationCiteCollegiale, did you take your after the college your attending? the one in Ottawa?
anyone of u guys use the bb thats connected in a machine for safety
does it matter if u use that one or the free weight barbell
Machines and variable resistance are first of all safer by yourself, but weights come with momentum, with a possible injury case. Resistance and machines don't have as much stimulating fibers on the complex lift as weights do.
