    Eggs

I prefer hard boiling eggs and then removing the yoke and consuming the egg whites, is it better than just making an egg white omelete or having raw egg whites?

    Cheers

I would say your method is superior due to the ease with which the yolk can be removed. Eating raw eggs or egg whites is not a good idea because less protein is available than when they have been heated. Also consider simply consuming the yolk as well as it contains half the protein of an egg, and other goodies with little added calories (although I could see that they might add up if you eat a lot).

actually thats not the case. The more you cook it the more nutrients you lose.

Although i hate the taste of raw egg whites, but i must agree with geoff, heating anything would reduce the nutrients, heat breaks down the cells/enzymes Chapter 1 from biology class in year 9

in the case of eggs the cooking actually allows your body to absorb the protein better, I remember the biology classes too

Well atleast someone agrees with me , in the end what matters is that you take protien at a claculated rate, for example if you weigh 196 lbs and wanna beef up then u need protien anywhere between the range of 196g-316.8g. Cheers
