    Just keep practising the lunges. They are awkward at first, but you'll get the hang of it.

    BJJ:

    Today was pretty good. Went over a series of sweeps in the kids class. Rolled a bit between classes. Nothing fast, just going through the motions. Adults class, we went over some more sweeps, and those went pretty well. Rolled a bit at the end, but I rolled with some of the newer guys, so just layed back and waited for something to catch my eye, just rolled really easy. Overall a goodnight though.

    Midget- Haha yea yea. You know what I meant. Anytime I roll with somebody new, I just lay back, and try to focus on the obvious things.

    Eric- Most def. The weights aren't anything good, but it felt great after the ****ty session I had the other day.

    My chest is a lot more sore than it normally is after a bench session. I can def. tell this new grip puts a lot more emphasis on my chest than my old grip. I'm going to keep it, even though I'm weaker with this grip than the old one.


    Sat in class all day up until 4:45 when I could finally get into the gym....




    Workout: Crossfit

    Location: School Gym


    Crossfit-

    4 rounds for time of-

    400m run
    50 staggered squats

    Time: 12:45
    Improvement: 1:05 shaved off my old time.


    Comments:

    Hell yea. Real happy with my performance today. My legs almost cramped halfway through from the squats and running, but I pushed through it. My lactate threshold is getting much better. I pretty much finished the first set of squats unbroken, cept' for resetting my feet. The squats were tough and affected my run time, but overall, I'm very happy with the way I performed. I believe in a few weeks I'll def be able to get it under 12:00min.




    Other Gym Work-

    Rotator Cuff:

    4 sets x 5/5


    Shrugs (Double Overhand Grip):

    185lbs x 2 (Tricep Cramped)

    Decided to do some rotator cuff work, as my rotator cuffs have been acting up lately. They felt much better after I got the blood flowing. The double overhand grip on the shrugs really kills how much I can shrug, as my grip is ****ty. I really want to work on my grip though, so I kept it double OH and just worked on a big ROM. The lateral raises were pretty light as well. Overall, this part of the session was pretty good.

    Coke- Thanks man. Last night's CF wasn't bad, actually one of the easier ones, except for the constant cramping feeling in my quads.

    Eric- Most def. I've gotta keep em happy. I think it may be the wider grip on bench that aggravated them.

    Midget- Yea what can I say bro, I just "ease into em".....you sick midget. That's why the kicked your ass out of Oz. Try my row/push/squats and see if you can break 12:00. I have NO doubts that Jodi will smoke my time, because your gf actually has a decent Lactate Threshold, unlike me. That really pisses me off too, because I feel if it weren't for that simple fact, I could put up some pretty decent times. Oh yea, if you ever wanna compete with me Ant, do the CF I did last night. Ohhh wait....somebody can't run haha.

    Bitch, once I my shins cut open, I'll show you how to run! I doubt I can break 12 minutes ... My rows would be in the 1:45-2:00 range (on average, legs are a bit tired today), which leaves about 4 minutes to do 100 pushups and 200 squats. Not gonna happen!

    PS - I'm still undecided, but I thought of doing 5x5 squats AND THEN doing your little girl workout (and no, I don't mean your sister).
