McV- Haha appreciate it man. I might can heck ya'll up with a video. I'm debating on whether or not to post it up now or let ya'll see it when I submit my second entry to the Montage Competition Sensei is starting.

Unholy- Thanks man. Appreciate the kind words.

    Coke- Trying bro, trying.

SOOO I had paintball practice today. Did a lot of running and diving. Shot a lot of people out. Our team is playing some pretty good ball right now. Came home and worked out.

    Workout: ME Lower

    Location: Home

    Weight: ~163lbs

    ME Dead (Sumo)-

    135lbs x 5 (platform and chucks)
    185lbs x 3 (platform and chucks)
    225lbs x 3 (platform and chucks)
275lbs x 1 (DE Speed, no shoes, no platform)
315lbs x 1 (way too fast, need big arch)
355lbs x 1 (need better arch, setup took awhile, fast pull)
365lbs x 1 (nice and smooth pull, rounded shoulder, WILL GET 405)
405lbs x 1 (+20lbs PR, smooootth pull, not pretty bad oh so sexy)

    Oly Squats-

    135lbs x 10
    185lbs x 5
    225lbs x 8
    225lbs x 8

    Band Trunk Twist-

    #2 close x 10/10
    #2 close x 10/10

    Band Rack Crunches-

    #3 x 10
    #3 x 10

    Comments:

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! About time. 4pps has been a long time coming. It wasn't pretty, but it came up, and came up smooth. Felt sooo good to finally pull that. Didn't know what to expect coming in. Figured the practice might take a bit out of me. I was wrong. As soon as I pulled that 275, and it felt like it was going through the ceiling, I knew today was going to be good. I really need to work on arching better and getting my back in a strong position. Luckily my lowerback seems to be pretty strong and isn't suffering to much from the pulls. My groin started aching after the second set of 225 on my squats. Decided that I had given a good enough effort, and called it a day after running quickly through some ab work. I'm stoked right now. Only 50lbs away from my 1000 goal, and I've got 4.5 months to do it.

Fuck, fight, or hold the light.

Chris- For sure man. I was soo stoked after pulling it. I'll get to 5 plates soon enough haha.

    Stumpy- YEA!!!!!!

Justin- Thanks man. Sounds good. See ya Tuesday.

Brute- I'm sure you could pull it bro. Like I said, mine wasn't pretty.

LK- Go back to pulling without that suit little brother haha.

Detard- Haha thanks for the reminder man.

So yea, I'm definitely feeling the after effects of the heavy pulling. My groin and hamstrings are destroyed today. Haven't been this sore in awhile.

Fuck, fight, or hold the light.

I will lift 425 at a lesser bodyweight (157ish) making me the victor

Seriously though, you should learn to pull in a suit. I imagine you could get a better carryover from your equipment with a sumo style.

Oh trust me man. Once I hit the numbers I want to RAW, then I'll definitely be looking to pull in a suit.

Congratz on the pr. That is some nice weight man!

I was wondering on your heavy deads, does your upper back round slightly? Also what are oly squats?

Anyway, good job on the workout, its looked great!

Thanks Con. My upper back does round over. Just part of the way I pull. Luckily my lowerback is getting strong enough to keep up. I normally squat with a wide stance, so sometimes I bring my stance in close and do Olympic Style squats, very deep. Helps bring up my quads.

Got an accounting exam tomorrow. Haven't really studied like I should. Oh well.

    Workout: DE Upper

    Location: Campus Gym

    Weight: ~163lbs

    DE Bench (comp grip)-

    45lbs x 10 (WU)
    95lbs x 5 (WU)
    145lbs x 3 (good speed, lacking arch)
145lbs x 3 (even better speed, mechanical, better arch)
145lbs x 3 (decent arch, pretty good speed)
145lbs x 3 (real quick speed, nice job)
145lbs x 3 (good speed, pretty tight setup)
145lbs x 3 (strong speed, decent arch, nice set)
145lbs x 3 (nice speed, need slightly tighter setup)
145lbs x 3 (strong set, not best but pretty good)

    Chins-

    BW +15lbs x 8 (+5lbs, WGPA)
    BW +15lbs x 8 (+5lbs, MGPA)
    BW +15lbs x 8 (+5lbs, CGPI) screwed up rotation
    BW +15lbs x 8 (+5lbs, WGPI)
    BW +15lbs x 8 (+5lbs, MGPI)
    BW +15lbs x 8 (+5lbs, CGPA)

    CGBP-

    185lbs x 8
    185lbs x 8 (+2 reps)
    185lbs x 6 (+1 rep)

    Seated T-Bar-

    45lbs x 10
    90lbs x 8
    100lbs x 5
    115lbs x 5
    45lbs x 10 (paused)

    Comments:

So the theme of today's workout was SPEED. Had some really good speed on a lot of my sets. The benching felt pretty mechanical. Nice job with that. Was able to bump up 5lbs on my chins. I'd really like to hit BW +25lbs pretty soon. I think I should be able to do it without too much trouble. The CGBP went quite nicely as well. Might could've squeeked out another rep on the last set but didn't want to hit failure. Pretty happy with how my triceps are coming along. The T-Bars were decent but nothing spectacular. Decided to take a couple of shots of some hardcore training before leaving the gym haha. Great workout overall.

Those curls are cool, but the best way to blast your biceps and really tone-up is the ROB VAN DAM curls that the cheerleaders do. You get on my chest pulley machine and just go to town. DEEP BURN

    Coke- Thanks man.

Curl- I don't ever give up. Don't know how.

    Sid- LOL for sure.

McV- I think I was doing like 1000lbs.

Justin- I forgot all about those. Damn.

    Guido- Bicep monkey. Nice.

Mase- It's good to see you around here again.

That exam wasn't TOO bad today. Probably could've done a bit better if I had studied a bit more.

Hamstrings and groin were still pretty sore today, so I took it easy and just ran through some random lifts. Didn't do much of the normal stuff I usually do. Also played a good bit of basketball after lifting.

    Workout: DE Lower

    Location: Campus Gym

    Weight: ~163lbs

Rack Cleans (3" below knee, no squat)-

    45lbs x 10 x 2 (WU)
    95lbs x 5 (WU)
115lbs x 3 (solid arching, pretty good shrugging)
135lbs x 3 (need a bigger shrug, form remaining tight)
135lbs x 3 (little better shrug, could be more)
135lbs x 3 (really focused on extension, better shrug)

    Front Squats-

    45lbs x 5 x 2
    95lbs x 5
115lbs x 1 (lot of pain in forearm)

Conventional Rack Pull (btm of knee cap)-

    135lbs x 5 (DBL OH)
    225lbs x 5 (DBL OH)
    275lbs x 5 (Mixed)
    315lbs x 5 (DL)

    Close Stance ATF Squat-

    135lbs x 5
    185lbs x 5
    185lbs x 5

    Lot of ab work.

    Comments:

Nothing really special about today. Just running through some stuff that I've neglected in the past. Started to work on the front squats but quit after I had a pretty good pain shooting through my forearm. Not quite sure what it was. Really need to get my Front Squat up so I can start hitting some heavy cleans. Probably take a week off after I finish this week. Try and get one more heavy session in before taking a rest.
