Damn, if we had known we had a meathead reading this, we could've dumbed it down a bit for you. Let me know if there are any words you don't understand.

Sorry, man. WBB Rule #129377374 states that you must post the following picture when stating that quote:

    G- My fault man.

    Lion- Touche.

So the last two ME sessions didn't go very good for me. I suppose it's a good thing. It has gotten me more focused on hitting the goals I set awhile back. I missed both a ME attempt of 255 on my Benching and a 325 ME attempt squatting. Really about the only thing that went my way was a BW plus 90lbs chin. I've been dropping weight the last couple of weeks due to all the soccer I've been playing so that definitely has an effect. Oh well, I'll just have to come back focused and more determined than ever.

Fuck, fight, or hold the light.

Your mind is right to hit PR's. I can definetly relate to the less than desirable ME workouts...

LK- Thanks man. Just have to stay focused on what I want.

Moved tomorrow's DE session to today. Going back to Wilmington for the night and wouldn't have time to lift tomorrow before work.

    Workout: DE Upper

    Location: Home

    Weight: ~166lbs

    DE Bench-

    45lbs x 10 x 2 (WU)
    95lbs x 5 x 2 (WU)
150lbs x 3 (brought low, kept low, good speed)
150lbs x 3 (good set again, quick pressing)
150lbs x 3 (slower negatives, good speed, solid arching)
150lbs x 3 (slower neg, quick press, decent setup)
150lbs x 3 (slower neg, pretty quick, nice setup)
150lbs x 3 (pretty good speed, bringing very low)
150lbs x 3 (good speed, solid arch, left shoulder hurts)
    150lbs x 3 (decent speed, solid arch/setup)
205lbs x 1 (shoulder bugging me, smooth but not blazing fast)
    215lbs x 1 (" " ", smooth, not fast, not much rest)
    225lbs x 1 (" " ", better than 215, smooth, nice tight arch)

    Chins (MGPI)-

    BW x 10
    BW x 10
    BW x 10

    OH Shrugs-

    45lbs x 10
    65lbs x 10

    Face Pulls-

    #2 x 10
    #2 x 10

    CGBP-

    AB= around back

    45lbs + #2AB x 10
    65lbs + #2AB x 10
    95lbs + Two #2s x 10
    135lbs + Two #2s x 8
    155lbs + Two #2s x 6

    *RC WORK*

    Comments:

Fairly good stuff this morning. Body felt a bit beat, but I'm sure that's from the back to back ME sessions. I'm used to an extra day of rest so I'm sure that's what it is. The speed was fairly decent today. My shoulder is pretty tight and bugged me the entire time. Not sure what's up. Oh well. I'll make sure to stretch and do enough RC work. I've decided to add three singles to the end of my DE days. Nothing too heavy, but nothing too light either. Decided to add some bands to the CGBP. The two bands provided some crazy tension. Really killed my tris. Felt great. Overall a pretty solid session.

Nice to know the forms good.
Being a strong teenager means nothing.

My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.

Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.

I like the addition of 3 heavier sets after the speed work. Are you going to try to make them a % of your 1RM or will you just be incrementing weekly as long as speed stays high?

    Fuz- Thanks.

    Coke- Appreciate it man.

Sid- Thanks man. Eventually they'll more than likely end up being around 90% of my 1RM though I don't usually get caught up in percentages. If it slows down I'm not too concerned though I don't want this to turn into another ME day, so I will monitor my exertion level on each of those sets.

Yooooooo chub. Long time since i've been in here. Lookin real good all around. What are you doing for your RC work. I injured my cuff about 2 weeks ago so once i'm healed up i'm going to start doing work to get stronger. In the meantime I want to work on my right so I dont injure my right RC aswell.

There are some direct RC exercises that I do in addition to a lot of upperback work. I'm really thinking this combo is keeping my RCs pretty solid. I'd look around on the internet for some good recommendations of specific exercises.

Up early this morning and into the gym. Didn't play soccer yesterday. My body just felt too tired to do much of anything.

    Workout: DE Lower

    Location: Home

    Weight: ~166lbs

    Squats (low box for height)-

    full sq = 1-2" below
    touch = parallel

    45lbs x 10 (WU)
    95lbs x 8 (WU)
135lbs x 5 (full sq, pretty solid set, tight setup)
185lbs x 5 (full sq, speed not very fast but everything felt smooth)
225lbs x 1 (touch, loose belt, nice job sitting back, maintain arch)
245lbs x 1 (touch, slightly tighter belt, maintain arch)
265lbs x 1 (touch, slightly tighter belt, smoother than 245)
245lbs x 1 (touch, slightly tighter belt, favored right side a bit)
225lbs x 1 (touch, loose belt, smooth, but not extremely fast)

    DE DLs (3" platform, chucks)-

    135lbs x 5 (WU)
    185lbs x 3 (WU)
    235lbs x 1 (smooth pull)
235lbs x 1 (lagged with the left foot)
    235lbs x 1 (smooth pull, quick setup)
    235lbs x 1 (great pull again)
    285lbs x 1 (let it drift away)
    285lbs x 1 (pulled in much better)
    305lbs x 1 (smoother than the 285)

    Ghetto Reverse Hypers-

    BW x 10
    BW x 10
    BW x 10

    Rack Crunches-

    #3 x 10
    #3 x 10
    #3 x 10

    Suspended Rack Situps-

    BW x 10
    BW x 10

    Comments:

Fairly good session this morning even though the speed wasn't quite there on my squatting. Nothing seemed all that fast though my setup and execution was on. Even 265 felt heavy. I'm sure I'm still feeling a bit of the after effects of my ME session on Saturday so I'm not too concerned. My pulling felt much smoother today. I'm working on a much quicker setup and it seemed to help out quite a bit. My left quad was feeling a bit weird so I didn't do anything else after the 305 even though it came up smooth. Once again hit up some Reverse Hypers. They really get my back feeling better so they're here to stay. Overall a good session for me.

Fuck, fight, or hold the light.
