Didn't you get a SSB? Why aren't you using that?

If your shoulders are bothering you that bad you need to learn to alternate you ME pressing with your ME squatting. That way your shoulders take much less of a beating.

That last WOD should actually have been a relief on your shoulders. Start doing more turkish get ups and rollovers/armbars (whatever you call them). You need to be doing a lot of band pull aparts and face pulls as well.

I do have a SSB, but it's back home. I usually end up doing my DE work with it. I'll have to add in the Turkish Getups if you think they'll help out. The WOD wasn't really hurting my shoulders so much as they were fatigued/sore and started to lock up pretty quickly.

This setup is pretty close to pulling from the ground. Didn't really want to do any DE squatting so I decided to pull a little bit. Nothing special.

    Comments:

Decent session today. I really wanted a triple at 235 but it wasn't happening. I went to drive my heels down and my foot shifted to the side. Ended up out of the groove and had to muscle it up. Pressing has been coming fairly decently, but I'm definitely not happy with where I'm at.

nice benching... and great chining. Always sucks when something you think as small as a foot slip, throws your whole bench off.

If benching is making you mad, gain weight. It's the new thing these days. I did it and am loving every pound of it. (so far gained 10 lbs. bench went up 15).

    Comments:

Squatting came together quite nicely today. It was fairly warm so we went to the beach before hand. It was pretty muggy in the gym but better than being cold. I knew I'd have a good day when 325 felt light. I'm really striving for a triple at 405 by the end of the month. I'd be pretty happy with that. I don't want to squat anything under 450 by the time I go to my next meet. Good day today.

Good squats chief. Briefs really help that much, huh? You guys are making it real hard to not buy equipment.

Haha yea I'm getting a decent amount out of them. Nothing really insane. I've hit 335 raw post back injury and 465 a bit high pre injury. I'm probably getting close to 100lbs out of them.

Weekly Weigh In- ~176lbs. I've really got to get a new scale. This one sucks.

    Workout: Metcon

    Location: Home

    Weight: ~176lbs

    Angie-

    100 chins
    100 pushups
    100 situps
    100 squats

Must complete each portion before going to the next

    Time- 24:45 (2:54 PR)

    Comments:

Better this go around. I've been tired all day but convinced myself to workout. The chins were fairly decent. They weren't all strict I'm sure, but I lost count at one point so started where I knew I had ended the last time so I probably did some extra. The situps were the slowest part this time. I really need to get this sub 20 minutes.

Nice job in here. How are you liking the crossfit? I was thinking about incorporating some into my training to get some more cardio. Got any tips for some one about to start it?
